We have eaten here on three occasions now and always the service is excellent and every support given to us as non french speakers. This year we were in hoots of laughter with the waitress as she tried to explain the dessert. I hasten to add that she laughed at us as well! The owner helped out with his very good English and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals and experiences I have ever had. The food was beautifully served and thinking of the prices of eating out in France, very reasonable. To any English visitor, particularly those not confident in the language I can honestly say you should visit and enjoy a meal there.
Each year we go back to this restaurant in Montelimar and each year are delighted with the food, the service, the friendliness and the cost. The proprietor speaks very good English for us uneducated British but the real deal is the pleasant location, no rush to get you served and out so that the table can be resold, the food taste, texture and variety. Unlike a lot of restaurants in France the servings are also of a size that English people will like! Not huge but very ample. Long may they continue.
Great meal to the Negotiators today with my partner and my ally Ulys: It is already starting with a very good welcome where the staff welcomes us all three with kindness. Then everything went well, they were super pleasant with us, without pretense, serving us good dishes with a smile! Good continuation and thanks to you for this moment, I would come back without hesitation if a next passage to be profiled.
I think this restaurant offers a good cuisine with a nice presentation. Sweet mussels and cream burned. The only point of attention I would like to bring to the owner is that the water has a very close smell and taste of chlorine, which you receive as a service. Better add cheap mineral water or nothing. For the rest, superior quality and good service.
