We were on a railway holiday and staying in Remagen and headed for this restaurant after reading good reports about it. Our visit was in November so no sitting outside on the promenade but inside it is a large room with drinking tables and dining tables (although they serve food anywhere) There is also a smaller function room. We didn't eat but just went for drinks before dinner at our hotel. Good efficient and friendly service and they do a nice little range of beers from Kolsch (from Cologne) to a Helles (light) beer to a Dunkel (dark) and Weissbeer(wheat beer). I live in the Ahr valley about 5km from the brauhaus. While we have many choices of places to go this is our new 'regular' date night restaurant for a couple of reasons. It is close by, good home brew, and a variety of dishes which pleases my vegetarian partner and satisfies my schnitzel cravings. The wait staff is friendly, efficient, and there when you want them or not as the case may be. Also the location on the Rhein is as good as it gets.
We are expats from the US living in nearby Mehlem. We have been to this restaurant many times and LOVE it. The service good and the food is simple but delicious and at a very reasonable price. It is beautifully situated on the Rhein and has a nice large outdoor seating area when the weather allows (rarely). I would recommend to everyone.
Didn,t actually eat here but spent several evenings enjoying a beer or local wine at the outside tables while watching traffic pass on the Rhine as the sun slowly set. Waitresses friendly and attentive, all speak or understand english better than my german!

Oh, yes, we make sure we eat here at least once when we are in Remagen. It looks out on the Rhine River and offers relaxing and enjoyable dining. Love the food. Price is very reasonable and the servers and staff are very nice and helpful.
They are serving typical Rhineland dishes for a reasonable price. The beer is very tasty. The atmosphere during fotball matches is fantastic as they are showing them on a big screen. Sitting outside during summer time is my favorite.
We just loved the great feel good - german style - food we got here. And all for a great price, with an attentive and friendly staff.
