The El Greco is located in an old wine resort with a corresponding decor. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. The Gyros had good quality, Suvlaki and Bifteki we know better. We also waited for our main dish in an almost empty place, which was not even hot yet. The salad didn't go. Cheapest iceberg incl. all stems, partly already brown, was added a little corn, a half tomato slice and raisins (although I haven't experienced yet, but I don't need it anymore). The Zaziki, on the other hand, was really tasty, as an appetizer also a plentiful amount, the price at 5,80 € but also quite high. On our vacation to Austria Night in Remagen and ate at night at El Greco at the center of Remagen. It was fantastic weather, and we were lucky to have dinner outside. The service was nice and hospital-free. My wife and I took the El Greco Plate together for two people. This was made of beef delivery and gyros, pork sate, yummy, a hamburger. Plus, fine fries and a simple salad served. This was already with all the royal that there was no room for dessert. It was a nice and tasteful night in Remagen.
We went through Remagen and looked for a nice restaurant. Away from the tourist restaurants on the Rhine, we have become aware of this and here everything really is true. The younger got his first meal offered in a waiter's restaurant (a cucumber on which he could chew) and also the parents were happy. If we're back in Remagen, surely the next visit will follow.
Friendly service, very tasty food and not only the common grilled meat at many Greek restaurants. Definitely ask for fried zucchini as an appetizer! Simple and delicious!
