"Friendly staff yummy green beans. Our other sides were cold unfortunately. The brisket was a bit dry and the sausage was good. The potato salad is very creamy (Mayo) I prefer a mustard potato salad."

I have worked in this area of TX for the past 4 yrs and never tried this place, now I'm kicking myself. Today was the 1st time. A very unique kind of setting. Kind of a buffet style place but they fix your plate. You can see the available sides at the counter when you order. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and pork ribs, a choice of 2 sides, trash can potatoes and green beans, both were very good. I'm more of a pork eater and thought the ribs were very good along the brisket I had. Nothing wrong with the brisket but not what I usually order when eating BBQ. Had a bite of my wife's cornbread casserole and it was very tasty also. The banana pudding was delightful and all I could do to eat...

What a great place with a great atmosphere! I had the brisket, jalapeno sausage, pork belly, Mac n cheese, and the trashcan potatoes. The brisket was great, had wonderful flavor and the perfect moistness. The jalapeno sausage had great flavor and the right amount of kick, not too spicy but it was for sure there. The pork belly was also moist and tasted spectacular! The meal was great and there was plenty of food so you can take some home and enjoy it again! My wife had the brisket baked potato which she said was wonderful. To me a good meat must stand on its own and not have to get dunked in sauce to have flavor, Brazos River Brisket House understands this and delivers great flavor. We will...

Late lunch on Friday, first time to try. Working in the area, thought we?d give it a whirl. Brisket: good bark, salty/peppery. Tad on the dry side but, it was a late lunch. Still good, still tender. The sauce on the side was unique. Not overly sweet and tangy. Potatoes were the red type, good but nothing distinctive by themselves. The smoked cabbage was really good. Large pieces of bacon and thinly slice sausage. Sweet tea was good and on point. Definitely worthy of a weekend drive out from the city to eat again. Will hit it right at it?s peak hour and be judgey if that brisket is a little dry again. ????

Service was quick and friendly. I asked for and got a sample of the potatoes, which were very good as was the jalapeño cabbage. The Mac and cheese was pretty standard, nothing special. Prices are reasonable. Ribs leave something very much to be desired. Best described as tough, chewy and dry. What has happened to moist, juicy, fall off the bone ribs like Aunt Mary used to make. If anyone knows please tell me.
