yes, well a bit insecure about this, we booked after review reviews and online and thought it was a little out of the ordinary what it turned out. the place has this industry, store chic or feel, a bit on the...rustic side and name not wrong as they feel that they are in a palster or abtei with long slender tables not quite hogwarts, but you get the drift. the menu was a little out there and looks back along the same lines of shared boards (see to be the wut at the moment). had a little effort to get something out, and a few of us decided for the steak sandwich turned out to be some squid, zucchini and another common dish for the others. we had the obligatory bread/dukha and olive oil for st...
Just had lunch there today for the first and last time. Food was average at best. Server/manager that attended to us was brusque , unhelpful and borderline passive aggressive. Politely asked him for a recommendation for the kids menu as we had more kids than...adults with us was coldly told “I don’t give recommendations.” Great start to an average meal. Pacing of the food was confusing as the dishes were repeated and mains came late. At no point did anyone come to explain what was going on or what dishes would be next served.
Online indicates opening times but when we arrived we were told they wouldn't be opening for another half hour. Another party had booked a table and staff argued that wasn't possible. Called through later for coffee, waited and waited for service even though staff visible,...no service. Walked out, won't be back !!!!
We sat at a long common table the room is beautifully set out. Shared tables meant we could ask locals what they recommended we had the zucchini salad cauliflower mains which were both absolutely delicious. I don’t eat meat and am not...crazy snout zucchini usually but this was superb. Highly recommend a visit here.
