Even though I hadn't visited this restaurant since last December, I was warmly greeted by John Morrison upon entering tonight. John remembered us from previous visits and despite being busy, he found us a table promptly and quickly took our drink and food orders. The service was impeccable! The prices were competitive, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone's tastes. Our food was served promptly and was fantastic, with generous portion sizes. We came for Christmas day and had such a fantastic time. Donald, John, and the team did a wonderful job of ensuring everything went like clockwork, ensuring everyone was offered their glass of bubbly with lunch. We were served at our table by the lovely Cameron and Andrew. Both were friendly and helpful and full of Christmas cheer. We enjoyed our starters, and the roast dinner was fabulous and piping hot, with fresh items added regularly. Myles worked hard to ensure no one had to wait long, even when it was really busy. Went for dinner with my family and we had the Xmas meal.The meal was lovely and even better was the dessert after eight sundaes.The young girl that was serving us was called Ellie and she was very friendly and pleasant and helped us get some more gravy for our meal and she also checked to make sure that we where happy with our meal and said she was new there and was really enjoying her job. So I would like to say well done Ellie you are doing a fantastic job.
Had the best birthday experience here! The weather was cold but the service from John was warm and cheery! We had a lovely meal of fish and a fishpie, was made to feel very special by John who went out of his way to mark the occasion, was friendly and professional and made made my day. I went in on Sunday and I do admit it is busy and I can see why the food in there was amazing that cauliflower cheese and the potatoes where to die for, plenty of sides to go with you’re roast with youre picky. The staff was great and efficient and the whole atmosphere overall was really nice, I will definitely be going back.
Cannot speak highly enough of the service we received this evening from John and the chef Chris. They went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable visit. I had the carvery which was superb, with lots of choice. My husband ordered the haddock which he thoroughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend.
When they ask how would you like your steak and you reply well done you expect it to be well done, not blood rare. Then you send it back and get back a medium steak well it is time to get your money back and order Pizza Hut. Guess the local takeaways will be getting my business this week.
Every year the highland breast care association have our Xmas dinner and one again we were treated to excellent service, good food and friendly attentive staff, special thanks to John for overseeing everything. Thanks again see you next year

We dined as a large party. Nothing was too much trouble from the friendly and attentive staff, who in fact spolit us. Plenty of choice, we enjoyed a two course meal from the Festive Menu. Thank you for making this a special evening.
Absolutely great value for food received on the 2 mains for £10.49. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Great quick service with a smile. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back
