Their new location is much larger than their previous one (just a couple of blocks away on Darby Road). The outdoor seating area is beautifully maintained. Inside, the decor is lovely, with a partial second floor (and they have or will also have a roof). The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the generous portions. The drinks are also delicious. It's a very popular spot. They offer a convenient waitlist function where they take your information and notify you with an estimated time of arrival and when your table is ready.
Brick and Brew for the win. Their rooftop is fantastic (and worth the $5 cover). Be sure to check out their music line up and go on a night where the music is gonna hit your vibe. If you’re lucky enough, Kristen will be your server. Hilarious and accommodating. We wished she was sitting and having drinks with us. Brick Brew is unexpected and the rooftop is a hidden gem. I just moved to Havertown and look forward to working my way through their cocktail menu. Their bartenders aren’t playing…nor are they pretentious like they might be in other bars of this caliber.
As for the food, we started with the street corn queso as an appetizer. It was delicious but very spicy—so much so that we couldn't finish it. My husband, who typically handles spicy foods well, agreed with me on that. For our main courses, we both ordered the Brick and Brew burger, which was excellent. It was cooked to our liking, very flavorful, juicy, and served on a wonderfully buttery brioche bun. The fries were fantastic too, with just the right amount of salt, crunch, and flavor.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.
We absolutely LOVE Brick Brew!! My husband and I first visited the restaurant back in March. We loved it so much, we came back with our son the next day for brunch….and asked them to cater my husband’s 40th birthday party at our house! All the guests loved the food and the delicious specialty cocktails. Today, we enjoyed their “Halloween Inspired” dishes. Shelly (the manager) is great along with her amazing staff! Would definitely recommend!

The waiter had a great sense of humor and was very friendly. We sat by the window, which offered a lovely view. The decor was beautiful, and the food was fantastic. We shared the pretzels, which were hot and light, and they came with some spicy mustard. The burger was cooked to perfection. The only downside was that the fries were a bit oily and cold, but overall, it was a wonderful place to eat.
It’s a fantastic place to enjoy a meal with friends or simply grab a seat at the bar. The staff is very friendly and more than happy to change the channel to enhance your dining experience. I often order the fig and nut pizza, and it never fails to impress.
I love the atmosphere of the restaurant and everything I eat or drink list fresh and delicious. I especially liked the crab dip! I will go there just for the crab dip and the cocktails. But they also have very good food. This place is a home run
Cool place! Love the decor, the Harry is wonderfully personable and the Grilled Octopus is beautifully executed: melts in your mouth+charred to perfection.
