Enjoyable deli lunch on a quiet Sunday mid afternoon. Warm Leberkase (smooth meat loaf) on roll with mustard Chilli cheese hotdog, including crunchy onions on top Melt with smoked pork, cheese, sauerkraut All were delicious; coffee was nice, people were friendly. The toasted melt was particularly good crisp warm toasted bread around tasty smoked meat, melted cheese, just enough sauerkraut to cut the fat. There's a small size melt, if you're not a huge eater. I've tried a lot of inner city yuppie toasted sandwiches/jaffles and this beats the lot of them. We also bought cold cuts to take home wafer thin black forest ham, paprika lyoner, really fresh looking weisswurst. Will most definitely be...

Great little German deli/backerie/butcher cafe. The cafe menu is on the smaller side but everything I've had has been delicious the shop side is well stocked with all the German basics. Not many savory options in the cafe for vegetarians being a bit of a sausagefest but being German there is some great sweets pretzels to tide you over. I'd normally steer clear of alcohol free beer but they assure me together with their freshly baked pretzels it's the perfect isotonic mix of carbs electrolytes for cycling I have to say it's much more enjoyable than a packet of spaceman energy goo from a bike shop.
I went with a German friend, but nearly missed out after Telstra assured us twice that there was no such business listed anywhere in Sydney and yes we did spell it out. We found it by chance and bought up on bread and smallgoods. Had...lunch there too, my BLT was amazing, the most tasty and crispy bacon ever, which I then bought uncooked to take home along with ham and bratwurst. Finished off lunch with a pot of tea and a piece of orange cake. I will go again for sure.
Swung by to grab some German wurst last Sunday. Bought bock wurst, fleisch wurst, liver wurst, leberkase, few of their rolls and their home-made cabbage salad. Gotta say all the sausages I bought taste quite authentic, almost like the ones I had on our trips to Germany. I didn't get any of the rude service mentioned by others, maybe I got lucky. I will be back to try their other offerings. Book a table now
I thought I was purchasing tonguewurst, but instead the meat inside was very dry and tasted like shoe sole... yuck! When I pointed to the tonguewurst and asked for it, the lady did not correct me. So I ended up buying half of the log! I ended up throwing it away. It was also a bit pricey.
I'd have to rate the toastie that I had as one of the best sandwiches in Sydney. Lots of great sausage and stuff in great bread. The hotdogs are just as good, great sausages in a great freshly warmed roll. And the prices are actually...pretty good for big fancy sandwiches.
Firstly had a good coffee and lovely cakes. Donut and pastry were exceptional! Then we discovered the other great goodies. Jams marzipan and smallgoods. What a little gem. Left with a happy tummy and awesome stuff for home.
Great coffee especially made by friendly staff member Daphne. Lots of good things to eat there too. Slices, pastries, cut meats, and a shelf full of over seas goodies. Book a table now
This is a lovely little café come deli where you can buy a selection of cold meats and sausages, continental treats and sit for a lovely drink and pastry.
Best sausages in the world. Love the Smoked Kransky hotdogs.
