We have been twice now and have followed some of our favorite servers from other local restaurants. The food is good and they appear to be well staffed. The kitchen does seem to struggle to keep up with the volume of diners. Our first experience a few weeks ago the food took over an hour for each course to come out. This was the worst meal my husband I have had. We booked a table on NYE. It was a set menu, you chose your appetizer, entree and dessert. The menu had no chicken or beef options as an entree. I had the pasta with broccoli. It was dry, over cooked way too salty. I never ate the pasta the waitress could have cared less.My husband had the fish, it was so fishy tasting and stuck in a bath of awful sauces. Both our desserts were completely frozen when they arrived. To top it off the meals cost $85 each and online it said $75. It was not worth the money at all. I recently discovered this gem of a restaurant and was blown away by the renovations the new owners have made. The ambiance is charming, and the menu is filled with unique and delicious options that surpass the usual fare found at other restaurants. With so many wonderful choices, it was difficult to decide what to order. The food was absolutely perfect, and the service was top-notch. I am already looking forward to returning this weekend for another fantastic dining experience!
The restaurant is beautiful and on a snowy Saturday night it was the perfect setting. However, the food was terrible. Two of us sent our dinners back to have the cook the meat to medium when it arrived almost raw. The steak was gamey tasting and tough as well. It came back almost the same as the first time. The other 4 people's dinner were definitely not as bad but I would not say that it was good. Unfortunate because the setting is perfect.

The 16 oz Delmonico steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. It was too large to finish at the restaurant. The clam chowder was also very good. The only downside was the calamari appetizer, which was rubbery and not very tasty. However, the staff kindly removed it from our bill since we couldn't finish it. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant. The drinks were generous pours and the food quality was very good.
I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have never had a disappointing meal or drink. The waitstaff is exceptionally friendly, and it seems the same goes for the bar staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends!
Service was EXCELLENT. From the hostess, bartenders, wait staff and even the manager made our meal amazing. Food was terrific, menu changes everyday with new fantastic choices. 10/10. The staff made it 100/10
We haven't dined at the Brushmill in over 15 years, but we were pleasantly surprised by our experience last Thursday. Everything was top-notch and first-class.
