The ambiance and service was outstanding as usual, but unfortunately the quality of the food hampered the evening. We ordered the trio appetizer spicy shrimp, mozzarella triangles and the calamari , which was very good. The Gargonzola salad was delicious, but the Chicken parm came up seriously short. The first bite into it we all looked at EACHOTHER and described it as “doughy” with no taste at all. It was a bummer for sure. We ordered the marinara spaghetti to with. This wasn’t too bad, but just eh. Thank god we ordered a small margarita pizza. That saved the evening. Overall the marinara on the spaghetti and on the pizza was ok, but needs to be reassessed and tweaked. Very bland and nothin...
The restaurant was busy which is fine, but the service was not up to par. No plates or silverware were provided, even after asking for it I had to go find it for us). Drink refills were slow and only came upon request. The server seemed new and other tables around us were clearly frustrated by how long food took to get, as it appeared the orders were not sent to the kitchen promptly. We were told our order could be sent in phases and I requested it all be entered at the same time. While $170 for four people isn’t bad, it’s not cheap and our expectation of a higher quality experience was not met.
A group of 10 people with a $500 bill had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The entrees were served an hour apart and the whole meal took 3 hours to be completed. The management was indifferent to the issues and did not seem concerned. Drinks took over an hour to be served and some were even charged for drinks that were never received. Despite being polite, the group was frustrated and decided to pay the bill and not return to the restaurant. They made sure to tip the waiter, as it was not his fault, but better communication would have been appreciated.
Went to Buca for our anniversary and it was not like we remembered. We used to go here and the food used to taste so delicious. This time it took an hour to get our food. The chicken Marsala was rubbery and dry. The sauce was watery and the food tasted like it was not seasoned with salt or pepper. Will not be going back again. On a positive note our Server was nice and made sure our drinks stayed full
