Buddy’s is a good option if they really enjoy that Detroit style that made the original buddy ubiquitous. the style is crispy, with each disc feels like a “corner”. I was happy with my pizza, and the size was big enough to feed me for a few days. Unfortunately, there is a negatiw that can simply not be ignored. To be honest, these pizzas cost a lot. I usually find it costly — I am willing to pay more for better quality food. but with quarantion opening near easttown with similar Detroit style pizza with comparable options and taste for half price, making it difficult to recommend buddys about Quarantion’s. the side, I will always welcome a restaurant that decides to offer vegan options. this...
I travel two hours one-way for this pizza if that gives them an idea how good it is. Bude uses daiya vegan cheese. the crust on her Detroit style pizzas is to die! Bud’s has a long list of gourmet toppings such as artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, basilikum. Buds salate are huge. a regular salate is more than enough for two people. they are also delicious. that is not one of those places where they give them a bowl of iceberg salad and they call it an salate. they have a good wine card, cocktails and beer. sitting in free and friendly staff.
Outstanding Detroit style pizza, excellent antipasto salad. The house dressing is very refreshing, tasty, and light. Buddy's is one of the original Detroit style pizza makers, and they're the best. Being from SE Michigan, it was music to our taste buds when we read that Buddy"s was coming to GR a few years ago. The Detroit related Decor is nice brings back memories. My wife loves this place I don't see what the hype is about. On the East side of the state it's okay. I'd recommend eating in if anything. Take out is usually cold and sloppy. The service isn't great, the food is usually thrown together without love. This has been a big let down, we were excited to get a Buddy's pizza in GR but this particular establishment has been a big miss. You can get a better Detroit style pizza at other chain restaurants for almost half the price.

Overall great place. The food was delicious, prices weren't terrible, and our family of four got out for under $100 with left overs! Great service, a little short staffed, so be patient. We sat outside and our waitress was fantastic. She was on the ball and super friendly, even though it was a busy night! She made great recommendations and made us feel very welcome.The pizza was delicious, we each got a 4 corner. Great all around, we'd recommend to everyone!!
First time at Buddy's. We ordered the antipasto and pizza. Both were really good. The pizza crust was really good and toppings were generous. If you haven't given them a try, do so. You won't be disappointed.
super, super good pizza. pickup was easy, fast together friendly (they brought the pizza to my car). I messed up my order, but caught before I was there, I threw myself in the fucked pizza as a free extra.

Buddy's is great for kids and adults. The pizzas loaded with cheese (a little light on toppings) and very good. The bread sticks are awesome, and we shared a Greek salad that was delicious!!
THE Detroit Style Pizza. It's an absolute pleasure on every visit. And the service is outstanding. Also try the fried veggies.
