Great atmosphere at this restaurant, perfect place to go with a group of friends for a laid back but great meal. Have been here more times than I can count and have never been disappointed. Their staff are mostly all helpful and kind and the majority of the time been a pleasant experience, sometimes hard to get their attention but I think that's just due to the set out of the restaurant. Probably would rate it a 3.5-4 star. Have tried their bimbimbap, bulgolgi, cold soba noodles, spicy kimchi pork, kimichi fried rice, leek pancake, bulgolgi soup, tteokbokki, karaage and some of their stews. All of which have been good solid hearty meals and I can't complain with any of them.

The place is abit small but quite nice. We ordered spicy crispy chicken, teriyaki pork belly, and seafood tofu soup (if i am not mistaken, forgot the name). The crispy chicken and pork belly came in a very big portion. The seafood soup came with a bowl of rice. The crispychicken was good but it wasnt spicy enough for me. The pork belly was also good, however, the seasoning wasnt mixed properly. Most of it were on the bottom of the hot plate so I could barely taste the teriyaki flavour. the pork belly was served in a big cut and it had a good texture. The soup was okay.
3.5 based on the one dish I tried, which was the seafood tofu soup. I initially ordered the seafood soybean paste soup, but the waitress suggested I change it to tofu. I guess I'll never know if I would have preferred the soybean paste, but you have to REALLY like silken tofu to order the seafood tofu soup, as there's a load of it in there! And a lot of onion. The soup was tasty, but would have been nicer with a bit of veg (only one errant semi circle of zucchini) and a bit less silken tofu. The side dishes were okay. Service very good and the atmosphere very buzzy.
As explored in previous reviews The Dear Luncher loves nothing more than pressing buttons. Bull Bar has a service button and this eliminates any awkwardness around waving people down for service. The equation was simple: chicken and beer. Bull Bar delivered in spades. Ample chicken, beautifully fried. Swimming in a glorious bed of cream sauce. Each and every bite was savoured. Service was fast as well. The Dear Luncher highly recommends this establishment. thedearluncher.wordpress.com Book a table now
This is one of my go to places for Korean food. I usually alternate between Maru, Matdongsan and here. The options are good and have all your Korean favourites. The prices are decent and they have good lunch specials. I ended up sharing a big kimchi tofu stew with my friend. Lots of tofu and ingredients and it came with two bowls of rice. On other occasions I came here for the lunch specials which was pretty good. The portions are decent size and just nice.
One of my go-to Korean restaurants in the city. Extensive menu and affordable prices. I love the atmosphere here also. I have been here many times and most of the time I enjoy the meals but sometimes it's a hit and miss. Got the fried gyoza once and they were a let down so we just never ordered them again and stick to the dishes we love.
We ordered the cold noodles and raw beef bibimbap. It tasted pretty good. The serving size was reasonable and the kimchi that they served as a side dish was pretty good. However, service was a little slow as it took us a very long time to order. I would come back again, but only during lunch time as they have lunch specials.
The chicken is a solid 10/10???????????????????????????????? The cheesy spicy chicken is a must to order ???????????? Hotspot to share is fair but portion is quite big Hotspot to share is served with 2 bowls of rice ???? Recommend 3 girls sharing one hotspot with the cheesey spicy chicken ✨ Book a table now

"The food was tasty. But everyone at our table immediately felt very ill. Almost instantly. The salmon was also a little to raw. The meat was quite a fatty cut"
