Very unwilling environment. I just closed a tour with my band and this place was recommended to us. We were looking for a great night, but the staff was rude and unfriendly. They also refused to play music for their males to enjoy (it was basically inaudible) and they apparently do not serve double. Then they asked us to go while we were waiting for our Uber at the door while they were closed. It was a very strange mood with bad service.
My friends and I were very excited to come to this place. We're from Toronto and had several people say we're reviewing it. We were welcomed by very unfriendly staff (after very generous tips) a very strange mood without music, I will not go back and will not recommend this bar to anyone.
This is a cute little hole in the wall place but with a lot of character and friendly staff. It also has good acoustics so you can hear one another and it has a cute and romantic outdoor space. Definitely will visit again!
Heard about Bumbo's and been visiting Hamtramck for a long time. Decided to get a few drinks here before a show nearby. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. I will definitely be visiting again.
