The food was really very good. We had a party of 5 and had advised that we were opting for the 5 course, however our food came before the sorbet so we cancelled the 5 course at that point. Errors happen and to be honest our party was already full as the mains and starters were gorgeous. The deserts were also very good, however the creme brûlée was advertised as a pistachio creme brûlée but we couldn’t taste any pistachio in it. All in all really very good.
no atmosphere needs some music! bizarre service you get sat in a lounge for 20 minutes with no explanation you can see all the empty tables where you could be sat didn’t get asked for drinks for 25 minutes service was good once we were sat down good to see so many young staff but they need some direction from an experienced manager food is good but overpriced for what you get. It’s not clear on OpenTable that it’s a set menu only
Truly terrific food—an exceptional chef indeed. It’s offering extremely refined plates—none disappointed us. The ambiance is mixed to the extent that there’s a beautiful lake view but too many empty tables because it’s also the breakfast spot for the hotel. So just look out the window. Service was very friendly and engaging. It’s a wee bit south of the main Windemere strip, but well worth the short trip.
Food is nice and good value. Waiter and waitress were both very polite and good services to customers despite noticeable that some are new in the industry. We order a bottle of wine and waitress never pour a glass for customer to taste first. Overall good service and excellent view from the balcony to the lake Book a table now
Food was lovely, can't fault it. However there was an unreal amount of flies in the restaurant! You had to eat your food quick before the flies ate it first!! There was a dead fly stuck to the curtain too by the window which was off putting. If the flies were rid then I would have gave 5 stars.
A pleasant dinning experience with a fantastic view. Food and service was good. The hotel is a little tired and could do with a make over but overall a good dinning experience.
Pre dinner drinks in bar spoilt by an extremely loud party, service poor\slow, difficult to park, starter was excellent main course below average
