My fiancé and I had a fantastic dining experience during our budget adventure at this restaurant! I really liked that the menu allows for protein and topping additions. I chose the Mac and Cheese (though I decided against adding a protein, I highly recommend the brisket option), while my fiancé went for the Brisket Sandwich paired with a lager that had "squirrel" in its name, and he really enjoyed it. The Mac and Cheese was wonderfully rich and creamy—truly a southern delight. However, the standout dish was definitely the brisket sandwich; the brisket was so tender that it fell apart easily. You can customize it with cheese or coleslaw, and it includes a free side—all for just $14. The servi...

@buseybrews wings are deservedly notable. They are super tender [without being mealy or dried out] and have great smoke flavor. You have to like smoked wings that aren’t crunchy from being fried. The buffalo sauce had a lot of good flavor but was mildand light on the vinegar. Unsure if I had a bad batch or maybe the end of the batch of brisket. It had good flavor but it was abit dry and tough. I’d be willing to try it again. The hot link was good, just not how I like it, it was more finely groundand almost emulsified (like a hot dog. The sides I got: Mac and cheese, and cornbread were amazing. The mule shoe milk stoutwas really good and exactly what I like, mild on the hops but rich with the...

We visited this restaurant during a road trip from Denver to Evergreen, and it was a lovely day to enjoy the patio. The service is based on QR codes, which worked perfectly. We ordered pulled pork and smoked chicken thighs, along with a couple of sides. Everything was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, and had a nice smoky flavor. The sides of mashed potatoes and baked beans were excellent—the beans had a smoky taste with just a hint of spice. The staff were friendly and attentive. You can help yourself to condiments, napkins, water, and more out back. It was exactly what we needed. We highly recommend this place!

I live in South Denver, and when I go to Black Hawk to do some gaming, I like to go out of my way just a few more miles North for their BBQ and tasty, high gravity beer. All of their smoked meats are REALLY good, but if you haven't had their smoked wings then you are really missing out! Admittedly, there are times where it sometimes takes a few minutes to get service when they are really busy. Which is almost always on the weekends but believe me, it's worth it.Seriously, if you don't give this place a good review, you simply just hate real BBQ. Book a table now

Our takeout order was prepared quickly, and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere, especially the deck seating, was delightful. However, the brisket I ordered was sliced with the grain rather than against it, resulting in thick, tough, and fatty slices with very little meat. This was quite disappointing. On the bright side, the coleslaw was excellent. Being from Kansas City, I'm accustomed to brisket that’s thinly sliced and served in generous portions!

Awesome place to stop on the scenic route from Estes Park. We stopped to grab a beer and stayed for three. They had just reopened to patio about an hour before we got there so the staff was still learning the tables, but the beer was great, the patio area is amazing. Great view of the hills, a few private tables and a few communal tables. It was too warm, but they have a fire pit as well right in the middle. 100% will stop by next time we drive through

I've had my fair share of barbecue over the past 30 years, and there have been only a handful of occasions when I ordered ribs, only to find that I could pull a bone out cleanly instead of the meat. This is one of those times. Do I need to say anything more about the quality of the food? Just be prepared for a wait; the quoted wait times are reliable. If you arrive before noon, you might not have to wait long for some of the best barbecue around.

This was a great stop for lunch. We had our dogs with us and got a table on the front porch. There were several other tables and we enjoyed connecting with other customers. The waiters were very helpful and gave us plenty of attention. We got a barbecue platter with pork and brisket, and pork beans and kettle chips for our sides. Everything was delicious. I absolutely love Busey Brews! The menu is fantastic, and they recently added a beautiful deck in the back. I used to be a big fan of craft beer but quit drinking a few years ago. It’s great that Busey Brews offers Athletic NA craft beers, making it perfect for anyone seeking non-alcoholic options!
