This is a real treat of a place, from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave (when you will probably be booking to visit again as we did you will love it. I travel a lot and eat in many places but rarely review unless it’s outstanding, this place totally deserves a review. It has a lovely dining room which is styled really nicely and the staff are so friendly and extremely helpful. We asked for recommendations and the pride and knowledge in the dishes was wonderful, they really understand what their chef is doing and are justly proud of it. This restaurant disappoints: 1. Wine list shows only prices for bottles. You have to ask if you only want a glass. This isn’t pennypinching for drivers. 2. They charge a cover charge of €3.80 for bread for 2. It is delivered with great fanfare but it is wafer thin slices with a teeny star of butter. 3. The fowl terrine with toast was €17.80 you couldn’t spread it on the toast. It was a solid lump of mixed fowl. Tasty but difficult to eat as a terrine on toast. 4. The Arros with black sausage, skate, cuttlefish and pork rib looked unappetising, tasted awful, was full of tiny fish bones and was largely inedible.€26.80. 5. The suckling pig was fine. €26.80. Total bill with water and one glass o...

Tucked away in a wee village near San Tomas, another ace pick from the Michelin guide. Ultra friendly service and exquisite cooking with a personal touch. Great wine list too. Definitely to be recommended!

For the €150+ the 2 courses cost and the poor quality of the food totally underwhelming. I don’t know how the Michelin Guide recommended it but I wouldn’t.
