I was so disappointed with my return visit here. I was so impressed with my first visit that I recommended others, mostly because the kind women out front was so exceptionally friendly. On my second visit the manager or gentleman in charge refused to honor my coupon for a couple cans of soda. I realize this sounds petty, but it 's a matter of principle and I will not return. He claimed that the fried rice with the pupu for two was a coupon (it is not) and I could not use two coupons. They still have not corrected this issue. He seemed perfectly fine if I never returned rather than honoring the coupon with a couple cans of soda. Again, it 's the principle. I won 't be back without a correctio...
So I got in my Delorean and took it up to 85 mph… it transported me back to a time when food was food. I couldn’t find a menu online so I called (yes had to call my Gen Z friends), I order a bunch of stuff I “assumed” any Chinese food place would have and everything was fine. They took my order and got it right. They told me 15min, I showed up in 12, and it was ready. I spent $38 and both my GF and I have lunch tomorrow. The pictures on the wall haven’t been updated since 1982 and I hope they never are. I grabbed a paper menu i my way out so I can order with precision week.
I was a customer for over 15 years, but I will not be returning. I would rather drive further to China Plaza in Rockland. I placed an online pickup order through a food app, which came to $106, including a free orange chicken for orders over $60. When my husband and son went to pick up the order, they attempted to charge them an additional $50. I am done with this place. They also forgot the hot mustard I requested three times. The service was poor, and the food tasted reheated.
I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and it's gotten even better lately! Everything has been served piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious!
