Sunday night stopover driving back from Hamptons to the city. Walked in with the dog in my arms. Tony Soprano looking dude at the bar says no to doggy, but bubbly blonde host suggested the outdoor seating area at the back which was nicely decorated but completely empty. Waitress was fantastic-she accomodated the dog perfectly. He sat propped up on the table like a dog version of Little Lord Fauntleroy. Incidebtslly LLF adored the meatballs, largely because they were out of the top drawer. The tonato basef sauce tasted like they'd been stirring it for 24 hours. The angel hair pasta with Escarole and beans was well packaged in a large metal serving tray, and tasted great, but it was very soupy with very little angel hair pasta in it. It was more of a soup than a pasta dish Do NOT ORDER the gelato!!! They charged me $11.50 for a ball of ice cream the size of a golf ball in a 1/2 lb plastic deli container! No whipped cream, or anything else, just the golf ball. Definitely not worth $11.50
Restaurant was clean and well organized . The food was delicious and hot. Manager was very attentive and ensured that everyone was happy . Wait staff were very informative, professional , nice and patient. My son was very happy with his birthday dinner. Will definitely visit again
