I absolutely adore this restaurant and have been a regular customer for years. Every time I order, I am never disappointed with what I receive. My daughter and I have come in almost every morning before school throughout the winter. Stella Belle and its partner, Cafe Astoria, have become one of our absolute favorite spots (I was going to say in the Twin Cities, but really, favorite spots, period. Food is delicious (crepes, sandwiches, salads, entrees, all great , love that I can get lunch/dinner for breakfast, and the special coffees (Creme Brulee or Campfire complete with toasted marshmallow! are divine. I’d give Cafe Astoria in St. Paul 4.5 stars! The place was busy and lively, making it a bit challenging to find a table. I chose the caramel pecan crepe paired with a hot macchiato, and the flavors were fantastic. Interestingly, the crepe came out before the coffee. Ordering through the QR code was easy, though the menu had so many tempting options. I did wish for silverware, napkins, and water at the table, but I get that some cafes expect guests to help themselves. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely be back!
Cafe Astoria is the only spot where my partner feels no need to hit the gym beforehand. The menu offers light, flavorful dishes that are almost healthy—unless you indulge like I do with two cups of Cafe Astoria coffee and some baked goods. The food is delicious without being flashy, perfectly portioned, and visually appealing enough for Instagram. I like to think of it as ideal grazing food. The service is fast and attentive, making Cafe Astoria one of our favorite places for coffee dates.

I enjoyed the food at Cafe Astoria. The ordering and seating process was a bit hectic since you order at the counter and then have to find a seat. When we visited, the place was very busy, but we were lucky to find a spot. It was also somewhat warm inside, which made it slightly uncomfortable. Improving the air circulation would be beneficial.
