A charming coffee cooperative located in downtown Chicoutimi, this spot is a great place to visit and enjoy. They take pride in using local ingredients and offering fair trade coffee. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and found a diverse crowd, including many students, which is expected in a university town like Chicoutimi. I ordered the pulled BBQ tofu sandwich and an iced coffee frappé. The frappé was deliciously sweet, creamy, and frothy, and it didn’t get diluted since it wasn't overloaded with ice like other frappés or iced coffees. If you are in a hurry, tell the staff before you order because service is generally slow but it's worth the wait; food is cheap and original with lots of options for vegetarians I highly recommend the homemade mangoe vegepâté. Water with no ice...served in recycled glass bottle is always offered. And there's the social mission: The art on the walls changes to encourage local artists, you can pay for an extra coffee or an extra soup and they will give them to local people in need, the coffee is always fresh and organic and the ambiance super relaxed....best coffee shop in town!
I loved it, except that most of the menu was with mayo vegeterian, a lot cheese as main part (e.g. in sandwiches, etc., but excellent coffee and I loved their core values (fair trade, bio). the relaxed, hipster/granola atmosphere was certainly a big plus. I liked my meal but felt it was not healthy at all, which made me sad and less satisfied.
This place has the best coffee in town. It also has a really decent selection for vegetarians (maybe vegans too I think). They source locally and they roast their own beans. Their terrace is lovely in the summer.

Very friendly staff, excellent coffee, and very good quality food. We enjoyed our breakfast and especially the smoothies, and the short visit to the coffee brewery. We can safely recommend this place.
The coffee and food at this restaurant are both excellent, with a great atmosphere. I docked one star because there is only one vegan option available, but it is really delicious.
The sandwich and coffee were both delicious. Even though I only speak English and the menu was in French, the staff made an effort to assist me with my order.
There weren't many gluten-free options, possibly only some beverages. I was not reassured about the possibility of cross contamination.
