there are 2 rooms in that pub, one very busy for working-people, and a nice little room much more quiet beside, so choose that room, unless you prefer being in a busy place. The owners are very welcoming, the food is ok. the plat du jour is under 9 €, if you 're greedy or starving, you can eat a full menu for under 13€. If you don 't like the plat du jour , you can always have something else, the Chef i very helpful ! Don 't hesitate, you won 't regret ! It 's only open for lunch, from monday to friday, for working people actually. And it 's better to book !
I have lived in Champniers for 40 years. And I had already passed through the door of the Café des Sport several times for the Tabacs side and I was always served with kindness. I had the opportunity to eat there at lunchtime and take the daily menu, and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the service and the courtesy and the smile of the employees...simple, good and professional...
un bon moment convivial tant l'atmosphère est sympathique.l'accueil est chaleureux ,des habitués heureux qui s'y retrouvent et qui échangent.un service rapide et une cuisine au top avec de bons plats pour un prix très raisonnablealors oui on peut recommander sans hésitation le Café des Sports pour y prendre un verre ou pour y déjeuner!!
