Stopped at this quaint traditional bar/restaurant on way down to the Alps for the time and it remains one of the best bets in this pretty town. Situated no more than minutes from the autoroute it appeared that madam single handedly prepared lunch...for our party of with the aplomb of someone preparing for guests at her own home. Fabulous hearty fayre; omelettes, beef bourguigon, goats cheese salad and croque monsieurs to name but a few dishes served up in a matter on minutes. The Cote de Nuits only added to our enjoyable repast. Simple food, lovingly prepared. An unmistakeable sign of quality. See you again next year!
We sat on the outdoor terrace for lunch with our dog, who got a bowl of water right away. We chose a nice bottle of wine and had the lunch menu for Euros. I had the salad with a goat cheese quiche and my...husband had the mixed salad as starters. Everything was really good, tasty and incredible portions. Next came the boeuf bourguignon, piping hot, and then a lovely cold double raspberry cake/ice cream as dessert. All this for Euros!! The service was very friendly. We would definitely go back there! Thank you for a most pleasant lunch!
After we walk through the whole city, we decided to stop here, it is inconvenient from the outside and we did not know what to expect. but this restaurant surpasses all our expectations! the food was very good and well prepared (there is a new cook apparently .hats off to her), and the service was very friendly and welcoming. we were at the end with jean jacques who ran in front of the house and really enjoyed our conversation. we will definitely return and recommend it to everyone else by nuits saint georges.
what a lovely brasserie we fortunately stumbled on a dead february night in nsg. we had visited the city years ago in the summer when she was busy, but this time it was closed! this brasserie was the exception. what a nice reception. very nice eating. we chose from a cursor menu at choices per cursor. the food was delicious the wine delicious. the service was great. would recommend a visit.

solid lunch experience nice cafe in the city center of Nuits-Saint-Georges. they will probably have to find a public parking space, as the on-street is limited. we found a close after the past. Enjoy lunch with fixed price options or a la carte. we ordered two lunchtime salads that were decorated with fresh meat and cheese and had more than enough to finish.
Terrace (it was raining so we skipped) and cramped indoor café. Staff hustles. Prix Fixe lunch or order off the menu. We took croquet Monsieur's, which came with a nice green salad. Good wines by the glass. This is not fine dining (the local police...department had tables pushed together), but you will have a good classic French lunch experience.
Nice outdoor spot in the main street for breakfast. Coffee bit of baguette were good but steep at pp especially when coffee was on the menu. No menu was presented for breakfast options so maybe they saw us coming? Jam butter...were high quality though which was a plus.
We travel from Scotland and stop here every time we travel to and from the South of France. Highly recommended. The food is excellent Madames Bouef Bourgenon the best anywhere. Look forward to returning in

This is a popular centre town restaurant. Limited menu but food is excellent and good value particularly menu of the day.Always busy which says something. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
