After the Boat ride from Zurich, and a few hours walking around and exploring Rapperswil, we found this sweet small cafe. Although there are a few tables outside, we chose to enter and found the cafe to be very light and airy with a super friendly ambience. We were only hungry for a small snack and a drink so we selected the Chai Latte and A Turmeric/Lemon/Ginger Tea along with a piece of Apple Cheese Cake. We loved our drinks- I liked the cake but it wasn’t what my wife was hoping for. The waitress was extremely friendly and the manager/owner was so helpful in explaining the different teas for two English speakers. We found Cafe Good to be a great little place with friendly staff.
I am happy that I searched TripAdvisor and found this lil cafe on my awaited visit to raperswil...its a homely, clean cafe, I love the fact that its run by women, the lady was polite n very sensitive n took extra effort to explain the menu in English...we ordered tomato soup, veg burger,swisswine and veggiesalad..amazing food, fresh n lovely rustic flavor, n the burger was definitely the best I have had in the world! Will come bk for sure :
I have never waited so long for breakfast in my life! After 30 minutes we finally got a luke-warm coffee, then waited another half hour for the food, which was the tiniest portion of scrambled eggs. Oh, and it wasn’t cheap. Think the team needs to rethink their concept of fast quality service.
This is one of my favorite places for lunch in “Rappi”. Best choice is called “half and half” where you get a nice fresh salad with tasty toppings and a bowl of soup. Cafe Good serves a lot of alternative drinks and you feel simply healthy and welcome at this place.
