Cafe Fontana - Table reservation

I order from Fontanas at least once a week. Until recently, the food has always been good. They used to have the best meatball Subs around. Last night, Friday, I ordered what must have been the worst meatball sandwich I ever had. The meatballs were cut in half, so there was half as much meat. There was almost no sauce on it, and very little cheese. To make matters worse the bread was stale. The undersized serving of onion rings was overdone, and completely dry. It's pretty hard to mess up a meatball sub and onion rings, but they found a way. I really should have sent it back and asked for a refund. Instead, I took a few bites, and gave the rest to my dog. He liked it.

2.0 Got the grandma pizza and chicken strips and fries. I usually love their grandma pizza but not sure if their online system but described as thin Sicilian but it was round only. They really need to change fries and strips. Fries were horrible most actually hollow and strips were the super basic frozen kind barely any meat. I know the pandemic is to blame for certain cost cutting but screwing up fries and strips is like messing up a burger at this point.

Quality food and service. They need to post lunch specials consistently and on time. We like the lunch specials to try new dishes but cannot make plans if the specials are missing or late.

That was the best service I've ever had their gluten free pizza was absolutely delicious the next time I come back, I'll have a burger with french fries.

I reserved for my wedding party and everything was great, excellent attention y the food is definitely delicious
