What is there not to say about this place, my daughter I stopped her for breakfast never again, the staff do not listen to what your ordering 3 time's i had to tell her what I wanted how hard is it asking for bowl of porridge scramble egg with No Toast. I visited on Friday with my daughter in law . I went to the till they weren’t busy after being served I asked the lady that served me for a glass or straw for my drink and also my change as she had shut the till. She started shouting wait a minute wait a minute, I had only asked her the once . I told her she was very rude and she continued to shout at me a member of staff that witnessed it apologised but didn’t want to get involved but knew she was wrong. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant. I witnessed staff handling a jacket potato with gloves, placing it in the microwave, and then sitting on the floor on their hands and knees to clean a cupboard. They used the same gloves to push up a colleague before retrieving the jacket potato and adding more cheese from a tub. Another staff member cleaned a glass top and then wiped it into a lower section. I also saw dirty clothes being used to clean chopping boards. Overall, it was a very unsanitary and unprofessional experience.
I was planning to have a cooked breakfast at this restaurant on 15/10/22. However, when I tried to order, the menu card on the counter indicated that there was a choice in how the eggs were prepared for a full breakfast. The staff member with a purple beard rudely informed me that only fried eggs were available. His attitude and customer service were lacking, so I decided not to purchase breakfast there. I ended up going upstairs to a small cafe in Brompton Walk where the breakfast and customer service were excellent.

I purchased three drinks, a sausage roll, and a tuna, corn, and onion baguette at this restaurant. However, when I received an egg mayo baguette instead of the tuna one I ordered, the unfriendly woman at the counter asked her older colleague if I had ordered tuna or egg. After confirming my order was tuna, I received another baguette with just tuna. Unfortunately, it was so unpleasant that I couldn't eat it. I ended up wasting £28 on this meal and I will not be returning to this restaurant again.
No one finished the meal. Store bought fridge pack chicken in the baguette. Rock hard bread. Jacket potato hard. Bolognese had no flavour. Italian family that can’t cook! Waitress’s looked overworked, they worked hard and are the only positive of this cafe/restaurant. Only still in business because of the location. They do not care about quality. Classic Italian restaurant that would be on Ramsay’s Kitchen Nighmares. Terrible.
Invaded here on the MIL's recommendation. Wife and MIL had the salad with baguettes both large portion with freshed varied food. BIL had the panninie which was stuffed and fresh. I had the macaroni cheese inside a baguette after haggling to get something not on the menu. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. I can see why MIL is a member
WenT yesterday first time. After being ignored and spoken to rudely by the man serving my mum decided on a crayfish and avocado sandwich white bread. It was served as brown bread but there you go. My mum has now been vomiting all night. She has nothing else rest of the day so must have been this sandwich. Will not be going again !!
