We planned ahead of our trip to Saarbrucken to visit Cafe Kostbar due to the good reviews and decent Vegan options. My girlfriend is Vegan so often finds it hard to find a decent meal to eat when we go out. However, Cafe Kostbar's options...were amazing. The menu wasn't the biggest but it supplied a generous variety of different food from steaks to vegan meat substitutes. The outside seating area was in a beautiful little courtyard which had treesvines overhead as well as fairy lights. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was perfect and the cost was great value for money. Overall I would recommend Cafe Kostbar to anyone who is passing through Saarbrucken
I didn’t know this district of Saarbrucken before and I found it interesting to explore. The location in itself is in a courtyard and it is supposed to be extra friendly in the summer, I can believe that. I hope I can soon give it...a new try. The service in the restaurant is extremely friendly. At the time of our visit, there was not enough choice of main courses to my taste. But the dish I selected was good. I had a nice evening

Das Frühstücksbüffet zu diesem Preis ist unschlagbar, tolle Gerichte, auch warme Speisen (die Tortellini hätte ich gerne mitgenommen), nicht der übliche 08/15-Kram, stattdessen Quiche, Rote Bete-Salat und Crêpes. Und Filterkaffee, Kakao und Tee sind im Preis mit drin. Der Innenhof ist wie eine kleine Ruheoase, Kurzurlaub am Samstagmorgen!

Good kitchen, nice athmosphere, deep in secret heart of Saarbrücken inside a culture courtyard in Nauwieser Quarter. Not very loud. It could become hard for people with physical restriction to get to the main desk Floor, but the open air tables in the courtyard...are solving that problem dependend on weather and season
