Good food, huge portions and friendly staff. Worked through the language barrier but we used Google translate for the French we didn't know and spoke Arabic with the staff for the rest. The couscous royal was a lot of food but very tasty. Tender lamb and crispy, seasoned chicken with vegetables and fluffy couscous. Worth a stop if you're hungry and in the area.
We turned up at 6pm, which is early for France, and were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. We were treated to delicious couscous (one vegetarian and one mixed) and felt like we had been welcomed into someone’s home. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.
Amazing Bistro just next to the Carrefour Pleyel Metro station. Don't be put off by the exterior; the food quality, value and welcome from the host is excellent. Worth a detour from the centre of Paris
