a modest place, nothing fancy, but delicious Portuguese food, cooked and served by the Portuguese running the place. we shared a portion of clams (in a delicious moustard souce), followed by two portions of grilled octopus (served with baked potatoes and vegetable). with a bottle of white Portuguese wine (from the Setubal peninsula) and two coffee, the bill came up to some 110 CHF. it was really more then worth it. great food and definitely underrated here on Tripadvisor , if you are looking for something different then the usual Italian of Asian restaurants here. Beware: cash only. no credit cards accepted. that's part of the non touristic setting here.
Me and my husband visit this restaurant yesterday, and he has start vomiting and nausea before dinner. Poor husband has vomit and nausea whole night. He still discomfort now. Should be food poisoning. So horrible experience. Update for reply your comment: Then you guys should check about the eggs. Fresh egg will not made people sick. And we only eat your food in yesterday whole day, I swear. We just drive to Interlaken then visit to your restaurant. After your restaurant, we didn’t eat anything else. Just so poor experience. Get sick and until we leave.
Delicious freshly made Portuguese food. We had a tasty octopus and a perfect cod (bacalhao) with seafood and home made fries. The restaurant was empty (out of season and covid crisis time) so we were a bit hesitant in entering...but it was such a good decision! Would like to come back, hopefully on a fado night!
Great restaurant! If you're waiting for a restaurant that fills your eyes, it's not the best, but if you want one that satisfies you and fills your belly, this is the place! The friendly and attentive hostess! I recommend
