Pictures say a thousand words.. I was initially really excited to try this place as it looked like it could be a cute little find of a cafe. However, the food was terrible, I mean absolutely shocking. It reminded me of the food that was served at Fyre festival. The bread was stale, hard and dry and they didn't even toast it?? They had just thrown it together along with a slice of cheese on with freezing cold egg and bacon on the side and called it breakfast. The service was just as bad. I felt a little bad for the server at first because she seemed really stressed, even though there were like 2 people in the cafe so I was confused. She was very abrupt and short with me and even snapped at me...
The food at this restaurant tasted like something you would get from a food truck. The only thing that seemed freshly made was the salad with our meals. The bacon, eggs, and sausage were all heated up from pre-cooked containers in the fridge and microwave. The smoothie wasn't terrible, but it didn't taste like fresh ingredients were used - it had a more artificial, commercial flavor. I was disappointed after seeing the high rating and number of reviews. I hope this was just an off day for them and wish them the best.
I absolutely adore their pernil sandwich and would give them a 5-star rating, despite the long wait for our order. However, today I was disappointed. The same person who prepared the food also handled the money at the checkout without wearing gloves. I hope the owner reads my review and addresses this issue. I will give their pernil sandwich another try, and hopefully next time, there will be separate staff for food preparation and handling the register.
Amazing place! Wow, we came here just on a whim and we came away super impressed! This place has everything! Delicious and unique food, cozy ambiance, amazing service and nice decor! My wife had the empanada which was amazing. I had one of their fruit smoothies, super healthy and delicious. also their coffee was spot on! If you're ever nearby, come check this plac out! You won't be disappointed!
