We had an excellent dinner on our last evening of a week wintersport in Westendorf. This restaurant was around the corner and thanks to other reviews the choice for our last dinner was easily made. We were not disappointed: after some drinks outside in the last sunshine a nice soup as starter followed by different mains: rosti with salmon and a delicious trout with almonds. As desert some icecream and coffee/teas. Prices were reasonable and the wines great. The atmosphere is nice and not too crowded but reservation is really required. After some drinks we were nicely in time for the nighttrain ... back to Holland
From the moment we walked in even though late, we were greeted friendly and welcoming. Silvia our waitress was amazing, friendly engaging and helpful an asset to the team. The food and service were outstanding. As a large group it’s not easy but Silvia was so understanding. Nothing was am issue. Food was exceptional. If you have the time to go here do it. A must place to eat. I had the steak and nut pudding which was beautiful. Best I have eaten in ages. Please don’t overlook this place. Size of portions are really good and the price is good too. My partner had the por schintezel.
This place was recommended to us by the our host. Restaurant has perfect atmosphere and just a right amount of positions in the menu. In 3 evenings we were able to try almost every plate and with not even one we missed the desired feeling. All schnitzels were tasty, big and crusty. Soups are flavorful and authentic. So glad to discover this cozy place and having amazing family dinners here. Looking forward to come back soon !
Have been a frequent customer of this amazing restaurant for years now. Hannes, Silvia and team are amazing hosts and all their dishes are simply amazing (have nearly tested the whole menu after 30+ visits). Can 100% recommend. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time, as it can get crowded, even on weekdays.
