After touring the museum, we stopped for tea and a sandwich along with a slice of cake. The sandwich was generously filled with fresh bread and came with a side salad, making it a satisfying and affordable meal. The tea and cake were also delicious and made the visit well worth it. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
This cafe is the best around, hands down. They have fresh cakes daily and daily specials like meatball subs and burgers. The portion sizes are huge and they never disappoint. The quality of the food has improved since Mandy took over, and the staff is the nicest around - always ready for a chat and a laugh.
A lovely room, decorated with posters/pictures in keeping with the nearby museum. Service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Food is simple but really well made and not expensive. Try the large baps, followed by a generous slice of cake. Highly recommended.
