Restaurant de la Poste is what I term, Good Fine homecooking. The meat from hunting season was of good quality and with fine sauces and presentation. Very tasty. The meat for the steak was average quality. Accompanying sauces were average also and not so...tasty. Wine by glass selection is very limited. Ambiance is average Swiss cafe type restaurant with a nice large terrace. Sun was not on the terrace for lunch, however, we enjoyed our coffee in the warm sun. Price for hunting menu 85.-chf was well worth it. 45.-chf for steak 200 gr. quantity enough but meat was a bit tough. Its located next to the road so the ambiance is half mountain, half road. I think the best they offer is the hunting...
On my sister's birthday we ate here! We hadn't discussed it, and we were lucky to get a seat out on the terrace, assigned! 'Cause a group of 30 people had fallen in, and they couldn't have been accounted for incriminating personnel! But no problem at all! We couldn't eat a la carte right now! That wasn't a problem, but it was our luck, too! A local delicacy was prescribed to us-- great malse steaks roast on a small bbq, salad, fries, and four sauces completed twirl bottle of red and white. Super everybody! Fair is fair - a large part of this positive experience, of course, came through the company and view!
we went here twice last week, as it was the next restaurant to the chalet where we lived and looked good on tripadvisor and were cheap for the Swiss! our adult son had the beef plate while my man and I had the poulet on our first visit. the chicken was so good and because I couldn't eat bark because of climate change troubles, I had the second time the chicken. the staff is very helpful and friendly. we had a good salad while we waited for our meal with a little broth. desserts were good - we tried the specials, the chocolate dessert (our son had this twice) and I also had the beautiful cream brulee.
I recommend to everyone to think twice about going here. the owner met us at the arrival and was extremely rude. we spoke French, but it was clear at the arrival that he did not want to leave in his restaurant. I would say that this was a part of the worst service we have ever received. no one else in the restaurant is inconspicuous and we are over later and still empty.

Being in St Luc for a very special birthday we decided to entrust Lauren and Gladys at the Cafe Post to do a celebration dinner for 24 people. They did us proud ! what we order, we have never been disappointed. the charbonnade is a dense, best meat and wonderful sauces. the chef is a master of his skill: he also places great value on fine supplements and refined sauces. I don't want to forget the fine desserts. the still slightly liquid chocolate cake you have to be able to gleam.
has the search for a place to land while enjoying good mountain recipes accompanied by a good wine.Last time we were very well received:) everything was perfect and delicious
best raclette I had (of more than a hundred)! beautiful atmosphere and top service! my wife chose a yellow bun that tasted excellent.
