This restaurant has a fantastic feel and decor but unfortunately that's as good as it gets. Tonight was our third visit hoping that they may have had off nights previously. To our disappointment, nothing had changed. Service is poor and food is below average. We were greeted nicely and taken to our table, given some water then couldn't find any wait staff after that for some time which was surprising considering the restaurant only had a few tables occupied. Finally tracking down some service we ordered and received our meals. My wife commenced eating and to her surprise, found a huge solid mass of cold rice on her plate. The better half really felt like Mexican, so we thought we give this place a try. The waitress we found, was rather pleasant & good. The Manager on the other hand.... Well, be great if she was as attentive to the patrons in the place, as she was to her phone. Then when she did have something to do, luke warm at best... Speaking of luke warm, the Nachos. They looked great, the flavours were really good. But the plate, chips were not heated. Pork was warm, cheese wasn't melted, so with all the toppings/fillings being cold, meant for lacklustre affair. We were so pleased to see a Mexican restaurant open on Capri so we ordered some takeout tacos and nachos one Saturday. The food was tasty so the next time we had visitors drop in I decided to do the same. What a disappointment, especially since we ordered on my recommendation. The tacos were acceptable but they were accompanied by some kind of revolting salad and the nachos were abysmal. We ended up tossing out most of the food and preparing a makeshift meal instead. Will never go back.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, lovely decor good service but the food was disappointment. We ordered Nachos as a main and ribs. The Nachos were cold when delivered and the ribs dry or cooked to long. The sauce was tasty and had the ribs not been over cooked they would have been terrific. Nachos cold are not nice. Then our entree arrived, the cheese poppers were meant to be the entree but arrived well after the main course. All a bit disappointing, won't go back.

Last minute decision for dinner and it proved to be a good one. Atmosphere was great, service was good and food was delicious. We ordered steak with seafood and ribs and they just melt in your mouth, especially the ribs as it's very soft and comes off the bone easily as perfectly cooked ribs should be. Reasonable price too. Will come back again.
What a great little gem this place is ! Margaritas were insane service was good and the food delish....We had the nachos to share between 4 and that was just nice to have with our first drink while we decided on mains. Small menu but fresh and yummy
Nice location for this highly respected brand. Place well run. Staff lovely. They serve Dos Equis which most Mexican places don't do. Much better than other Mexican beers! Food was okay without being great. Sweet potato fries were great!
Tried the Cantina for the first time last Friday night. Great vibe and sensational food / serve sizes. Owner of the establishment did the rounds of the crowd during the night which was a nice touch. Will certainly be back.

Went here for lunch , was excited to try the new menu . Service was non existent , couldn't even get a drink , food was bland and terrible . Won't go back or recommend ! Such a shame
