Was there 3 or 4 times for breakfast / brunch .. consistently good food, consistently slow service. There is something of the way you edit the orders from the front counter for waiting for the waiting. You have to apologize. And delivery times after the order are long, even if there is no obvious reason. A pity because the staff is really polite and attentive, the food is always good and is a good value. If you have fixed the service, I would do Cabegeros 4 or better.
The refit has done wonders! What a light, airy room! I would like to see some "home specials" that you just can not get anywhere else. A special sandwich? A signature cake? Lunchbox friendly treats? Special toast? Slightly unique for "Fremantles Heritage"? There is a lot of competition in the area, both for coffee and for Deli goods and Fruit'n've, what will bring back to humans?
Great atmosphere, good service, clean reasonable costs, but the food was missing a bit missing. Tiny operations did not reflect the price. Pancakes were boring and very small. Poached eggs (x2 v good) on toast with page order of the bacon (x 1 crispy slice) and two huge slices of uncooled bread. Fade. Should also provide adequate knives when they serve so.
I'm new to Freo and thought I would try this place. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised! The fitout is great and the place has a nice feeling for that. The food was very cheap and tasted great. Coffee was also delicious (and only 3 dollars I could add!). Would definitely recommend to put in here ...
