Absolutely love this place for easy and authentic Italian food! Have been a few times in the last year and each have not disappointed. Service is great, perfectly attentive when you want it but without overdoing it. Food is authentic and pretty quick. Have had the tagliere di salumi which was good value, pizza and pasta all had generous servings and were definitely tasty! The only pasta dish that might be a little overpriced for the venue is the Spaghettoni allo Scoglio ($28), but it tastes great so can't really complain. Generally busy so would definitely recommend booking ahead!
Cantina Centrale is one of our favourites for a quick meal or celebrating with family and friends. Authentic and fresh Italian - the pizza (gluten free available and white sauce options which is great for reducing the fructose) is straight out of the wood fired oven and the pasta is yum. Save room for the gelato if you can. Being one of the only dinner options in the area it can get pretty busy any night if the week, so best to book ahead.
Cantina Centrale is a great restaurant in the heart of Mont Albert in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. A great range of wood fired pizza, pasta and side dishes makes this the perfect venue for a family dinner. The staff are friendly and very attentive. We had gluten free and fructose mal-absorption requirements at our table and the kitchen was very accommodating. Lots of different options available. Good coffee to top off a lovely meal.
Nice Italian restaurant in the eastern suburbs. Good food and quick service. Apart from the end of our meal, our waitress cleared our table and offered to put our leftovers in a takeaway. Only to never return. After 15 mins we gave up waiting and finished our drinks left money on the table and left.

Even though we were using a GPS to find Cantina Centrale, we walked right past as there are few signs and the signs that were there were difficult to read. The service was excellent, very attentive waitress, food was excellent, we really enjoyed, The arancini balls were fantastic.
Pork belly special was delicious and the pasta dishes were perfectly cooked, balanced and presented. Lovely setting and staff gives this place a great vibe – thanks Rob! Book ahead as it is deservedly popular. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

Had a family birthday here, and really enjoyed the wood fired pizzas and the delicious slow cooked lamb ragu with homemade pasta.
Over priced and over hyped!
Don't even try to go without a booking otherwise they will look at you with disdain and revulsion.
