Attention, diners! I need to correct my previous mistake about Capriotti's in Easton. The vegetarian turkey is not actually vegan. After asking an employee to check the packaging, they informed me that there are eggs and milk in the product. Further research online confirmed this, as the brand is Worthington Vegetarian Protein Slices Meatless Smoked Turkey. The full ingredient list is available on shopwell.com. I had an interesting experience at this restaurant. While waiting to place my order, I observed how a sandwich was made and was impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff member who took my order over the phone. The issue was quickly resolved and a freshly made sandwich was delivered to me promptly. Kudos to the staff for their excellent customer service. My sandwich was delicious and made just right.
the vegan truthahn really blown my head. it really kind of freaked me out because it seemed as similar to normal truthahn (or at least as I remember truthahn.) my sub was really delicious, and the personal was friendly. but yes, vegan cheese and mayo would also be great. altogether though I really liked this place, although it is better for vegetarian than vegan.
I was thoroughly impressed by the vegan turkey at this restaurant. It was so convincing that it actually startled me, reminding me of normal turkey. My sandwich was delicious and the staff was friendly. I do wish they offered vegan cheese and mayo, but overall I enjoyed my experience. This place is better suited for vegetarians than vegans. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the cold cut sub at this restaurant. I ordered the veggie turkey sub (note: the medium size is quite large, so be mindful when ordering). While they didn't offer vegan cheese or mayo, the sub was so flavorful that I didn't even miss it.
I was surprised how much I liked a cold cut. I had the Veggie-Turkey lower part (head high the medium should be a big, so order accordingly.) they had no vegan cheese or mayo, but it was such a delicious sub that I didn't need it anyway.
The restaurant is usually great, but this time the Italian sub was disappointing. It lacked pepper, crushed red pepper, mayo or oil, and only contained 3 slices of meat, all for a $15 sub.
The cheese steak was delicious. Despite being very busy during my visit, the two staff members working did a fantastic job of keeping things moving smoothly. Book a table now
