I frequently visit Carbone's and normally would not grade this low. The reason for my grade is that the service was okay but not great. My primary complaint is that I asked the server what kind of bourbon they had. She rattled off a few but couldn’t remember the rest. One of the choices was Widow Jane, a bourbon I've had in the past. Rather than press her and ask her to go to the bar, I ordered the Widow Jane. Now I know this is a little slightly higher priced per bottle than some of the others but ordered it anyway. When I got the bill, I was charged each for two of them on the rocks. I was shocked. This is Bloomfield, CT not Chicago or NY. There is no way I would spend for one bourbon anyw...
This was our second time dining at Carbone's Kitchen. I was a little disappointed in.my tenderloin meal as the one tenderloin was very tough and chewy. Not as tender as I am use to
It was delicious! Best lasagna we have ever had! Excellent wine. Meatballs superb. Will be back
