1st timer!! My co worker recommended this spot to me and im a hard person to win over. But he did! Im new to this area and the best part is i live close to this spot!!! This spot is right near the military base, and its a small spot, i drove by this place so many times and never knew but im glad i know nowwww!!! Lol. Man the owner does it all! From taking orders on the phone to showing up and the owner tony is in the back cooking and taking the payment lol. The service was very friendly, authentic, its nice to meet a good brother doing his thing. Great vibes. I enjoy supporting locally owned businesses. Important note: If you are ordering the fish it takes about 25 minutes, so you might want to call that one in in advance. The food here is pretty delicious and reminds me of food I have eaten on the islands. The portions are very generous and so it is definitely worth the price. The staff is wonderful. Dont forget to try the cakes, huge slices and YUM! Every time I am in town, I drive completely out of the way to get here.
Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We went in at the end of the day, I thought the hours were longer. Customer service is top notch, I ordered Red Snapper eschovitched and King fish with rum cake. These dishes take a little longer than other offerings, but our order was still taken five minutes before and filled. The food was good and I will definitely be returning, if for nothing more than the graciousness. I can eat an entire one of their rum cakes too
This is a fantastic no-frills mom-and-pop restaurant. I ordered the fried shrimp lunch special, which came with rice, peas, and cabbage. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned, and I added some stew gravy to the rice, making it even better. I also had two patties, which were tasty. For under $12, I enjoyed a delicious and satisfying lunch.

It's a hidden gem tucked away, and it's truly a precious find. The Ruck chicken and curry chicken were spot on. Her homemade beef patties were fantastic. I just wish the curry had a bit more spice to it.
Great Caribbean Jerk Chicken. I have gone to Troy's Caribbean and Soul Food two times now. I really like the jerk chicken, beans and rice and do not forget the plantains and greens.
As a real Jamaican who came to visit, I was woven coz the food selling out... slap weh in other words Nuff big ups on taste Caribbean.... So I'll come back
