beautiful small restaurant in the center of icod. the kitchen is local and the portions are huge. the personal is generally very friendly. but we were in an organized tour that suggested to eat there. we were not forced, so we were looking for options in the fork app and we saw this with 30% discount, so we booked and decided to go there at the end. After the meal, the owner told us about a really rude wise that we were not entitled to discount because we were part of the tour. While we were able to understand his steadfast vage, we propose not to offer the discount if they are not willing to give us. in any case, this is not the appropriate way to treat customers. eating is plentiful, but not my expectations. the canarias suppe was really nice, very tasty. we also had a grilled fish, but the fish was not grilled at all. Instead, it floated in garlic butter and quite salty, which ruined the meal. the potatoes served with it were also very salty, which did not improve the experience. on the positive side was the broth good and the house white wine was vet good (light and fruity). the personal is also very friendly. all in all not too bad, but not what we expected after we read other reviews. at least they don't work with hunger or broken!

friendly staff with excellent treatment. the charming and welcoming place. the rich and served fast. We'll come back and you should go if you visit the wine icod!
