This restaurant is the only option in town for dining on Christmas Day. We ended up here because my elderly mother-in-law doesn't have a working kitchen to prepare a large holiday meal. In previous years, the food and service were just okay. However, this year everything was much better. They reduced the number of menu items and everything they did offer was delicious. I particularly liked the risotto bar and the lobster bisque. The beef and turkey were cooked well, but could have used a bit more seasoning. The raw bar items and the salmon appetizer were fresh and tasty. The desserts were excellent. The service has also improved significantly.
We arrived on time for a dinner reservation and were seated immediately. Actually we were the only diners there at the time. There was a wedding reception at Tracks, the casual bar in the same elegant waiting room of the former DLW station, which was rather energetic. Our waiter assured us the reception would be over by which it was. Then there was peace and quiet. The staff was very attentive with at least one staff member watching the dining area at all times in case service was required. The food was excellent as was the service. While our meals were not inexpensive, I considered them to be inline with a fine dining experience
We had a reservation for We arrived at the designated time to find the entire dining room occupied by a wedding reception with NO tables available for restaurant patrons. There was no one at the reservation stand, so we left. I tried to cancel on Open Table but said I needed to call. I tried calling times, but no one answered. I tried to make another Open Table reservation, but it wouldn’t let me because the Carmen’s reservation was not cleared. The appetizer platter for two should come with four shrimp - how are you supposed to split three shrimp? The oysters were flat and drowning in BBQ sauce. The cocktails were crafted perfectly, the soup and salad were good (although the soup wasn't hot), and the dessert was fantastic. The main courses were just okay. The service was good until it got busy - we had to flag down staff for coffee and ask the hostess for our check. The atmosphere with the live performer was very enjoyable.

The marble lobby was beautifully set with buffet style burnch, great selection and plentyful. Coffee was excellant with lots of refills. Staff were very attentive and ready to accommodate any request. Only thing, I would have preferred the guests waiting in line for food were directed in the open lobby rather than behind our seats through the dining room where they were holding onto our chairs while waiting. Otherwise all my guests were very pleased and satisfied with the event
My husband and I have eaten many times over the last years. It was our first meal after becoming an engaged couple and we have eaten several meals here for anniversaries and birthdays. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. The only downside is that if there is a wedding happening, you might have to contend with the cocktail hour noise since the restaurant shares space with the hotel lobby
My husband and I went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day. Everything was fantastic. The staff was very friendly, the music was wonderful (the musician even took a photo of us), and the set menu was well worth the price of $60. We will definitely be dining here again!
The food is first rate and is second only to the service. My wife and I have dined here a few times and it's always a wonderful experience. Treat yourself. You won't regret it
