Carmine's Steakhouse is located in downtown St. Louis at 20 S 4th St, just a block from the iconic Gateway Arch. It's conveniently situated near both the Old Courthouse and Busch Stadium, as well as the intersection of I64 and I44. This classic steakhouse offers a selection of aged cuts of beef and boasts an atmosphere reminiscent of New York or Chicago. The restaurant features a spacious bar, ample seating, and a patio perfect for those who enjoy people-watching during lunch.
We were not offered the nightly specials, even though the surrounding tables were. My salad was missing ingredients. The entrees were okay. We ordered creme brûlée for dessert and it was made incorrectly and we had to send them back. And the valets forgot about us and it took a long time to get our car
Great but expensive. The medium rare 10oz filet was perfect. The twice-baked potato was delicious. Servers went above and beyond. Not 'Ruth 's Chris ' expensive, but close. $106 for two including $20 tip.
We made a reservation through Open Table. Showed up to the restaurant and it was closed with the doors locked. We received no notification that the restaurant would be closed Book a table now
The service was excellent. The food was good, but not great. My steak was very over cooked. We don't feel that the quality of the food overall was worth the price

Fantastic service and food. Everything cooked to perfection. Scallops were unmatched! The naked bicycle race added great entertainment!
