I stayed at this hotel with my family on Saturday 10/11 and we had 3 rooms. We found the restaurant to be beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hotel only has 7 bedrooms, a cozy dining room, and a very stylish bar, giving it a boutique style feel. Despite considering cancelling due to noise concerns from other reviews, all 5 of us in our party slept very well in the comfortable beds. The linens, crockery, and everything else were of a high standard and everything was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was freshly made to order starting with a delicious fresh fruit salad. There was plenty of choice and the portions were generous. First trip to the area and was treated to a trip here. From outside, it doesn't look like it's anything special but when you walk inside, it's excellent! Very smart and trendy/modern design and you instantly know you will like it. Very friendly and welcoming staff who are happy to explain or find a drink of your choice. Only had time for two drinks but would happily go here again on a future trip. Well worth a visit.
What a gem of a place. Tucked away but a beautiful venue, fabulous cocktails and superb staff. We were beautifully looked after from the moment we arrived, nothing too much trouble. The cocktails were all incredible (we tried quite a few but hadnt even made a small dent in the extensive list) and we were made to feel very important by the attentive and efficient staff. Without hesitation i would recommend this bar.
Fantastic stay from Start to finish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and served out of hours after a long journey from the North East. The room was very clean and furnishings and fittings were to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and the full English breakfast is highly recommended. Overall great value for money and an experience which added to a great wedding !

An unbelievable afternoon, food was amazing, staff were amazing and the decorations were amazing. Nothing was too much effort for the staff and they were all so lovely and welcoming. I don’t think I will ever use a different venue for any sort of family gathering. Can’t thank them enough.
The bar is impressively stocked with a variety of cocktails, and I particularly enjoyed the historical pictures adorning the walls. The beautifully finished rooms were a pleasant surprise, and I highly doubt there is anywhere else in Shropshire that can compare.
We stayed here just for one night while in Telford and couldn’t have had a better stay! The staff were super friendly and the food was out of this world! The salmon main I had was cooked to perfection! I hope to be back again soon
Used this place several times now and it’s consistently good, table service and quality Cocktails. Prices aren’t too bad for this type of establishment either. Recommend happy hour for best value.

The service at Carriages was exceptional, offering great value for money. The breakfast was top-notch and you can't go wrong staying or dining here. Vale and James were fantastic hosts.
We had Mexican and it was faultless with descriptions from a Mexican national and cooked by a Mexican chef too. Brilliant food. Well recommended.
