This Carvel location in Holbrook, NY, is truly the best. Their ice cream is consistently delicious, featuring smooth, thick, and creamy soft serve that doesn't melt as quickly as the ice cream from the Medford location. The staff is fantastic, and I've never encountered any issues here. The service is attentive, and the store is clean and well-lit. While I do miss some of the former employees who were always friendly and knew exactly how my family likes our orders, we will always prefer the Holbrook Carvel over any other location.
Management couldn't care less! Ordered an extra thick chocolate shake and got 95% milk and 5% ice cream I might as well have ordered a glass of milk I mean Camon you work at carvel and can't make a simple shake? Not looking to be petty here as it was only a shake but I did pay for it and do deserve to get what I paid for. Called twice and asked to speak with the manager, both times I was told he would call me back but he never did. I guess Baskin Robins it is!
Earlier this week, I ordered a custom cake, but when I went to pick it up, it wasn't made as I had requested. A staff member reached out to the owner, who kindly promised to make a new cake and deliver it within 1 to 1.5 hours. The timing worked out just fine, and the owner personally delivered the cake, along with some delightful mini flying saucers. I appreciate the effort to resolve the mistake and for delivering the cake! Thank you!
I accidentally handed my Doordash order to the wrong person at this restaurant. Despite being notified of the mistake by Doordash, they continued chatting with their friends and didn’t start remaking my order. It was quite frustrating, which explains the restaurant's low ratings. On the bright side, the staff was friendly.

I picked up an ice cream cake for my grandson that had a Minecraft design on it. I ordered one half of the sheet cake in vanilla, without any cookie crunchies, since that’s his favorite. The other half was a mix of chocolate and vanilla with chocolate cookie crunchies. They did an amazing job! My grandson was so excited!
I love their flying saucers. I purchased chocolate and vanilla flavors, and when I bought two, I got one 50% off. The total cost for two was under $20. If you only buy one, it will cost about $13.99, if I remember correctly. I appreciate the savings since I haven't won the lottery yet. Delicious!
I am very happy with the custom cake, ice cream, and milkshakes at this Carvel. The owners even included a generous amount of whipped cream with my custom cake (see picture). It truly exceeded my expectations.
I was very pleased with how the cake turned out, though I felt the price was somewhat high. The photo and design on the cake were executed beautifully! My daughter was absolutely delighted!

This evening, I took my daughter to the ice cream shop and the staff were amazing! They genuinely seemed to enjoy their work and had so much enthusiasm.
The restaurant featured the familiar Carvel decor, and the staff were very friendly. They kindly offered to write on my $30 chocolate fudge cake.
