Casa ferino is one of those small, friendly places you only hear about from locals as it is situated away from any main roads, shopping centres and tourist attractions. The service and warm friendliness of the staff is only surpassed by the quality of the food, which comes in well presented sizeable portions. I can't say much more about this place without sounding like I have been paid except, if you ever find yourself in Gijon, Look for Casa Ferino and you wont be disappointed

We have eaten several times already here and always wins us cared for great and the food never disappoints, I have read some opinion of people that I find surprising and even though I have nothing to do with this bar they offend me just to read them and that free is to hurt ... reading some opinion you realize that some have no idea of eating or drinking cider and dare to think bad and put green to a bar of all life and for that you will not be taken.
Frequented this restaurant often over our 2month stay in Gijon and always had a good meal plenty of food at a reasonable fee. Our waiter Joulio was always gracious to us and welcome us with open arms. This is a family place which is clean and has local and regional dishes. We've patroned this restaurant in the past and will in the futrure. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
