Food was good and tasty. A bit over priced. As typical of other Persian restaurants in London, we were told to pay by cash and we had to walk in cold to get cash from a cash machine. When asked the owner for the reason why they always ask for cash we got a long lecture by him that why all Iranian ask this question and suspect the owner for tax avoidance. We did not even say that and we just questioned it since it was inconvenient.
While it's nice to have an Iranian option that's not too common, the prices at this restaurant are just not justified. The quality of the food is average - standard meat, cheese, and burgers. Charging 15 pounds for a burger and soda is just too much. I'm sorry, but I can't justify spending that much. A minimum of 10 pounds would be more reasonable in my opinion.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant while working in the area. I have visited a few different places, but this one was definitely the best. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I would give their pizzas, burgers, service, and prices all a perfect 10/10 rating. Highly recommend!
The wrong order was originally delivered. After a quick call all food was cooked again and re delivered still hot and with complimentary beverages. The food was very good, the service was good (mistakes do happen sometimes it's about how they're dealt with) and I would certainly order again Book a table now
The owner emphasises on paying by cash every time we go there and his excuse is that the card machine is broken. I refused ti go out and get cash and told him that he loses customer like me if he continues this way. He then got his card machine out. Sandwiches taste good but a bit pricy.
Excellent baguette sandwiches. I tried the beef and cheese one and the quality of the meat was great. Burgers were made with a special type of bread/bun, more like a baguette. Overall they do care about the quality of their products and serve some excellent food.
The Caspian Sandwich Bar is our go-to spot for the best sandwiches in London. Every time we visit, we make sure to stop by and indulge in their delicious hotdogs and burgers.
