I really wanted to give this a three-evaluation, because eating was nothing to write home. it certainly does not have the standards of the rest of the French restaurants in our two weeks holiday. but the ambiente was wonderful, the...the weapon was amazing, and we were ae to get a table without reservation, which is difficult to do. my wife and I were with two different menus. she started with escargots she loved. then she received a selection of meats above the Alsace sour wort. of the five fleshes she liked only one very. the rest was just boring. We enjoyed a very lovely lunch at this restaurant yesterday. I was very enchanted by the wine cellar and the big fireplace. The food was also very good. We were lured in by the pleasant aroma outside. I had roasted chicken with a side salad and fries. My husband had veal schnitzel with mushroom sauce, salad, and fries. Portions were very large and satisfying. We paired it with a local wine and also enjoyed lovely desserts. My husband had the blueberry tart, which was the tart of the day. I had profiteroles. we first discovered l’ami fritz when we visited ribeauville in our four-year-old daughter, who called her the cave (as in cavern, not a French wine cellar) and in our five visits in Alsace ever since we managed to eat there at lunchtime. it is not today's kitchen, but each time we have always enjoyed it for a classic Alsatian farewell. we were a little disappointed by dingen, which were a little restricted by Covid guidelines, but the restaurant had no control over it. I'm sure we'll visit next time thanace, we'll find ourselves here again!
We went here after looking for a place to eat for quite a while. The service is very nice and polite, even though they don't speak English they try hard to communicate with the costumers. my husband and I got the best pizza ever and my brother got and exceptional burger. We payed in total just about 50 euros for food and two beers. We bought a pinot noir- red wine, it was not the best, but the price wasn't very expensive.We can recommend this place as it is not expensive food, the place is cozy and the service good.

we were saved in the evening of December by this good place. all restaurants on the main strip where already full. here we found space we were looking for traditional cuisine and that we had. a part of the children's menu...(classically deep fried by something that looks like chichen) the adlt food was easy and the tarte flambe, is one must try and also the zwiebel suppe I can't say that is a Michael starting place, natural but are considered to be quite typical.
Yep - it's in a tourist town. And yes, it markets to the tourist crowd. But they do an excellent job with traditional, regional cuisine in a neat atmosphere, both inside and outside. We've been to Alsace a half-dozen times over the past twenty years and this is our go-to place for lunch in Ribeauville for a fix of Tarte Flambee or Choucroute! You won't get haute cuisine, but you will get some good traditional dishes for a good price without giving up to quality.
The restaurant is very nice decorated with wood and stone and fireplace , the dishes are excellent and big but you have to be very very patient cause it takes at least 90 minutes to eat...Crowded you must be lucky to find a table, service not speaking English but at the end you leave happy as the food is worth the waiting and with reasonable prices
At this part of france is the warmest welcome restaurant. We came without reservation and smiling waitress Just said, of course come in. In few minutes was totally full. We had good time there. Recommend this place

Very nice and busy restaurant. We enjoyed lunch with friends here. We were waiting little be longer time than ussualy, because we occoupied last free table and kitchen was busy. Waiters was extremely clever.
