DO NOT USE THIS DIVE DO NOT USE THIS CHINESE. The exterior might fool you but maybe instead of spending so much money on the exterior they should of put the money towards cooking classes. The beef curry was so thick I had to use a knife to cut it to dish out onto the plate, the beef was like leather and full of grissl. The chicken fried rice was chewy and greasy. The chips were the only nice food item there. Their customer service is diabolical. Phoned and took the food back and they refused to give our money back and instead started acting as if we were the victims getting their phones out. Shouting and raving and waving arms ... Disgusting. It's not even rateable but I couldn't write this...
"Fantastic experience! I met two lovely gentlemen named Colin Chi and Colin Chi Jr. The chicken and duck were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Bridgend. On top of that, the prices were wonderful—affordable and budget-friendly.
As for vegetarian options, they were great too! The restaurant is also very kid-friendly; Harrison was fantastic with the children. Parking was excellent, and the wheelchair accessibility was impressive as well. Overall, I had a great takeout experience!"
Ok where to start , wasn't very happy with the food at all . I had duck chow mein with spare ribs in (sweet and sour sauce) chow mein was cold and greasy and the taste was very bland indeed and the spare ribs was very fatty with a very sickly , vinegary sauce , not very nice at all . I won't be going there again and the only reason I gave 2 star rating is because the staff was warm and friendly.
The delivery was overpriced. There was an unexpected price increase, with new menu prices displayed alongside the old ones, which made things quite confusing, especially regarding the meal deals. Really good Chinese, decent price and the only Chinese i've found in South Wales that makes a decent duck in plum sauce without pineapple.
2hours and 45 mins for delivery was told 1hour 30mins if wasn't for delivery drive being polite I wouldn't of payed
