The building itself is stunning and you can see it was a previous wedding venue, the finishes are top notch. We were greeted at the door by Carlos who looked after us throughout. He made us all including our children with ASN feel very welcome. The food was delicious. We looked at the menu before booking and whilst it looked delicious to my husband and I our youngsters would prefer plainer food. The day before Carlos rang and arranged what they would like fish and chips, delivered lovely thick battered haddock and hand cut chips! Kids were very happy. I had yummy...
We recently visited Craigsanquhar for the third time and each visit has been better than the last. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance in April and now it has become a must-visit whenever we are in Fife. The ingredients are all sourced locally and seasonally, the chefs are skilled, and the rest of the staff are attentive and knowledgeable. While it may not be the cheapest option, the quality of the food makes it worth every penny. If you're looking to treat someone to a special meal for a special occasion or just because they deserve it, you must give Craigsanquhar a try. You won't be disappointed.
We visited here today for lunch at Nathaniels Restaurant. The food was sourced locally and was absolutely superb. I had Black pudding and Haggis duo for starters and was like a main course on its own. This was followed by beaded haddock and potatoes with salad and home made tarter sauce. I was sorry that I had no room left for the sweet course but did have a cappuccino with home made shortbread. Prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff was second to none could not be faulted. Highly recommend and will certainly be back again.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The steak I had was the best I've had all year! All of the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive to our children, who had a few different menu options to choose from. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trip. The atmosphere is very stylish and comfortable. I give it a solid 5 stars!

Recently re opened as a restaurant after being a wedding only venue for several years. Beautiful country house in a lovely rural setting. Staff are very welcoming and looked after us very well. Food was great modern Scottish. Overall feels like a really high end experience, but at prices similar to many St Andrews restaurants.
Had dinner at Nathaniels last week and it was excellent. The service was first class and very professional, (thanks Carlos). Sandie commented that her steak was the best she'd ever had. The building and grounds are beautiful, very well maintained and the atmosphere was excellent. Will definitely will be going again.
We had a beautiful meal the night before our Wedding here. Not only was the food fantastic but the service was outstanding! We would highly recommend.
Just had lunch there for my mums birthday! Food was fabulous as always and service was excellent! Would recommend it to anyone!!
