Very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant last night. My husband and I both ordered the marinara however when my husband began to eat his he could smell a horrible odour and found that the mussels were off. He called the waitress who agreed the mussels smelt terrible and took them to show the chef. They offered to replace the mussels but we declined. My serve was ok however a couple of the mussels had not opened so could not eat and there were only 2 prawns which were very average in quality. We did not see the waitress again until paying our bill when she deducted 10% and thanked us for letting them know - not impressed!!!
Came here for a drink pre a movie then after the movie I brought the crew back. Eating in a manly food court with the sound of slot machines in the background isn't my idea of dining. We had wine and shared a Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella and friend had the stick date pudding. All very average. $70.!Staff were lovely and very helpful. Atmosphere nice. Wheelchair and kid friendly. ATMs and toilets available nearby. I'll return to try other items in menu but hope it improves.
Shouldn't have visited this place again, as our previous visit was just as underwhelming as this time around. Menu is very limited, our main meal arrived before our wine did and we had to ask for our side order twice before it arrived, and when it did, we'd finished our meal. I think the problem with this venue is that they want high-turnover and perhaps rely on 'tourist traffic'. Plenty of others to choose from at the Crown Complex.
Came here for breakfast on a sunday morning just as Melbourne was waking up. We were the first customers but our food didn't come first oddly enough. The coffee was good, and the view from outside onto the Yarra was a great way to start my day. I breakfast menu isn't extensive but the eggs that I had were lovely. I'm sure it would be packed at dinner, as it was packed an hr after we arrived.The staff were also lovely, but slow.

Dined at Cervo for Sunday lunch last week with friends. Staff were friendly and attentive. Enjoyed Bruschetta and arancini balls for entree shared between us. I had a delicious Pork dish but I forgot to order vegetables. A friend had a great BBQ chicken pizza that he could not finish. Deserts were amazing, extremely well presented and tasted great. A little noisy in restaurant but everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves.
My brother and his wife visited from the Gold Coast expecting to have some great Melbourne food. We ordered 3 different pastas and the slow cooked pork. The pastas all had nothing in them except garlic and oil. The Marinara at $38 was a big pile of pasta with no flavour and a few mussels. My daughter had bad stomach pains after her pasta. Thankfully the slow cooked pork that I had was nice. Very disappointed.
We visited on a Saturday night and didn't have a reservation. Staff were helpful in putting us on a waiting list and calling once a table was ready. The layout is quite cozy and there isn't much room between tables.Service was a little slow, but understandably so given the amount of guests.The food was nice, not amazing but definitely not bad either. Prices are reasonable.
Had a neal on Sunday night. Entree, we had crusted olives and calamari, both were lovely and a good size. Main meals, I had gnocchi, it was beautiful, it melted in your mouth, I've never had such Beautiful food. Others had lamb it was cooked perfect and a salad. We were all very happy with our meals, service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Came here for dinner enjoyed a pizza with friends the service was great, it is value for money the staff sit a short notice and coffee is wonderful would recommend Cervo for anyone who goes to Crown casino.
Accommodating staff managed to seat us on short notice. Good service with both interesting and tasty meal choices. Nicely positioned with an excellent outlook.
