Four of us went for a Sunday breakfast and were satisfied. Why? Large area with lots of space between the tables so you don't hear the conversations of people nearby and you don't feel squashed in great. The food was exceptional 'french toast with honey yoghurt; poached eggs with mushrooms and tomatoes (although the eggs slightly overcooked) and zucchini fritters with middle eastern tastes. The coffee and teas were excellent, service friendly excellent atmosphere.
Sunday morning breakfast with great company deserves great food and the Foodstore didn't let us down. Easy trip out of the city and we were seated quickly. Fantastic space, well utilised without packing the diners in like a feedlot. Food was on the money and the coffee drinkers had smiles on their faces which can only mean good things about the skills of the baristas and the quality of coffee. Will happily venture out here again.
Delicious food, coffee and friendly service.Large industrial style cafe. Good menu. Very laid back, not as busy as other cafes in the area which we really enjoyed. Prices were reasonable. I tried the pesto scrambled eggs, my husband had the beef burger and both were very satisfied. Child friendly, lots of room for prams. Very accessible. Toilets available. Definitely worth wandering into.
We went for breakfast with a group of 6 and we had great service. Everyone liked their dishes, which varied quite a bit. They also sell interesting produce, so it is worth a poke around the shelves. It can be noisy there, but not too bad, and the buzz provides a nice atmosphere. Not an intimate place, but that also makes it nice, to be part of the overall scene. Book a table now
We ordered the the Foul Mudammas. I'd never heard of or had this before but it was absolutely delicious!!! Similar to baked beans, but instead of a heavy tomato sauce it was a zest lemon flavour. We also had the baked eggs special. Equally as delicious and very rich. Filling, healthy meals and great coffee as well.
The venue is big and airy, with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Tables are well spaced, and not squashed up.Great food, nice menu with good variety. The serving is generous and plentiful, and the food was delicious.Staff are friendly and efficient. The tea is nice and the coffee is good. Will definitely come again.
Fitrst time visit, will return. Great coffee, roast on premises. Friendly wait staff. Had poached eggs, chickpea puree, roast tomatoes, bacon, rocket and sourdough toast. Delicious. Interesting old warehouse type space, large windows, wooden floors, can get noisy when crowded.
Great coffee and the breakfast options are vast. My favourite is the Breakfast Mezze. The coffee and juices are great too. Service is always welcoming and friendly. It has become one of my favourite places to have breaky, enjoy the weekend papers or even get some work done. Book a table now
